The Christian Conduct of Corinthians

Read 2 Corinthians 11:7-11.

The Apostle Paul went out of his way to firmly plant the faith of these believers, removing all obstacles or hindrances that may have stood in the way of them putting their faith in Jesus.

This meant himself, his pride, his needs, and anything else that would have been inconvenient to them.

Just as Jesus taught us to do, he washed their feet (figuratively) by giving himself entirely for their sake and not desiring to be blessed in return.

Today, is there anyone in your life who you desire to know Jesus? To know Him, love Him, and be radically transformed by Him?

The truth is that you are an important part of God’s plan for them being welcomed into His Kingdom, but have you ever considered that there are ways that you may be hindering that very thing?

So just as Paul gave an example, in what ways can you reach them with the Gospel but at the same time remove anything that might get in the way?

In what ways can you devote yourself to being a blessing, washing their feet, and truly putting the love of God on display for them while leaving your flesh and pride behind?

Don’t overthink it!

In many ways, this is just a matter of walking in tune to the Spirit of God, therefore take a few minutes and simply pray. Inquire of the Lord concerning these things and how you can be His hands and feet for reaching the world with the transforming news of Jesus Christ!

Christian

Since coming to faith as a young college student, God’s lead has taken me around the world and back. Today, my passion is clearer than ever; my heart hurts for the lost, but it burns for the Church. My deepest desire is to equip the Church to be the body, working together to see people’s lives be redeemed in the name of Jesus. My name is Christian and my wife, Emily and I have been married for 6 years and have a little one named Amelia. Together, we’re fully committed to following Jesus to where ever He leads us.
