As Jesus spoke His final words and breathed His last, the crowd that demanded His crucifixion grew quiet.

Their jeers turned to lament, and their fists went from beating the air to beating their breasts in mourning for what had taken place before them.

Even the Roman centurion overlooking His death could not believe his eyes as he stood in awe before the Son of God’s lifeless body.

This is how Jesus died, your Lord, your Savior.

Think about this, what it means, and why this moment in history is the defining moment of your faith. For it was at this moment that everything was about to change.

Therefore, as the crowd responded in lamentation, and the centurion in awe, how will you respond?

Christian

Since coming to faith as a young college student, God’s lead has taken me around the world and back. Today, my passion is clearer than ever; my heart hurts for the lost, but it burns for the Church. My deepest desire is to equip the Church to be the body, working together to see people’s lives be redeemed in the name of Jesus. My name is Christian and my wife, Emily and I have been married for 6 years and have a little one named Amelia. Together, we’re fully committed to following Jesus to where ever He leads us.
